A Modern Approach to Window Cleaning

Did you know that glass has been used to make windows for nearly two millennia, having first been utilized by the Romans in around 100 AD? Over the intervening centuries, people around the world have actually tried other substances to make their windows, including paper and flattened animal horns. Glass stuck around, however, and grew sharply in popularity in Europe from the 17th century onwards. In turn it was brought over to the US with the settlers, and glass obviously remains the surface we make our windows out of to this day. Given how long glass windows have been around, you can be sure that people offering to clean that glass for money have been around for a long time too! We truly are part of a time-honored tradition, here at Majestic Windows & Exterior Cleaning! Just because our job has been around for a while, however, does not mean that it’s stayed the same. You might be surprised to learn that window cleaning has evolved rapidly in recent years, and – for the good of our customers here in Long Island – we’ve striven to stay at the forefront of that evolution at Majestic. The old “go up a ladder with a bucket of water and a sponge” approach is no more. You might still find some window cleaning companies using it around Seaford, Massapequa and Wantaugh, but for Majestic Windows & Exterior Cleaning that’s a thing of the past. We prefer the vastly more effective modern window cleaning techniques, which give better results and do so in a shorter amount of time. A huge example of this is the “water fed pole” system, which we now use for all our Long Island window cleaning jobs. In short, we use lengthy, lightweight poles which can easily reach the vast majority of windows. At the end of the pole are specialist brushes, which are soft enough to avoid damaging your windows, but strong enough to dislodge and remove the dirt that will have built up on them. Water is fed through that pole and onto the windows… but it isn’t just any old water, oh no! It’s “pure water”, which has been de-ionised, and contains no chemicals or detergents whatsoever. The net result is that the combination of the brush and water gets the windows nice and clean, as you’d expect, but the purity of the water also ensures a streak-free, visually appealing finish. Given that no chemical residue whatsoever is being left behind, the windows will actually often stay clean for longer too. Not every window cleaning company in Long Island can provide this service. To take advantage of it, you need to find a company like Majestic, who’ve gone to the trouble of investing in top-level equipment, and have delivered extensive, painstaking training in pure water cleaning to all of their employees. Window cleaning has moved with the times, and you should do the same. If your current window cleaning company in Seaford, Wantaugh or Massapequa is getting the same old mediocre results, it’s time to try out the modern approach with Majestic Windows & Exterior Cleaning. Once you’ve seen the results we can achieve, you won’t look back. To get in touch with us today, just call 631-421-2295, or email MikeMajestic66@gmail.com.
